Safe place to allow him to go will be up to the local pub

So he’s just turned eighteen and you really don’t want to lose him. The only son, the pride and joy finally let lose into the ‘adult world’. Well, almost.
We all know that turning eighteen is significant, in fact the most significant age. They can now drink, legally! It’s natural to want to try and stop them from going out or handing out a curfew, but realistically we all know it won’t work.
Now, a safe place to allow him to go will be up to the local pub. Of course he will drink, and yes he will probably crawl back home on his hands and knees. However within the local he will be amongst people that know him, people that know your family and friends of the family.
The beauty of the local pub is that nothing remains a secret. Perfect if you really are that desperate to keep a little eye out!
The security of him having a pint with the local community should release your tension. At least you know he’s safe and amongst good company. Unlike venturing out to a large club, the local pub will offer comfort ability for him (and you) and he will always be sure to know somebody in there no matter when he decided to go in.
Turning eighteen and fleeing the nest isn’t a bad thing; in fact it’s a very good thing! Being moulded and toughened up by the blokes in the pub should send a nervous shiver down his spine, yet eventually build a heck of a lot of character!

Restaurants in Gloucester

Plenty of Gloucester’s most popular restaurants tend to be hidden away slightly in a back street, a darkened alleyway directing people into the unknown then surprising them with complete delight. By looking closely into the many twists and turns of dark alleys, you are sure to find a new favourite restaurant!
A popular restaurant placed ever so nicely on the River Servern slightly out the way of the main city, is the beautiful restaurant The Wharf House. The views are what make this restaurant just so appealing, the gorgeous picturesque countryside scenery, contemplating the entire dining experience. The Wharf House serves a variety of cuisine, spreading from European to the tastes of the local. This will appeal to all as it offers food for all tastes, catering to your every need. Another positive of this incredible restaurant, is that all profits made go the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Canal Trust.
Dino’s Village Taverna is a prime example of fabulous food placed in a very unsavoury environment. The Greek food brings out the diversity and overlooked beauty Gloucester has to offer all. Don’t forget the Farmers Boy Inn, in Longhope, highly rated for its pies and lovely tasting ales!
Finally,Café Rene is a very sought after restaurant. Typically British and promoting the lovely candlelit dinner theme along with the busy bar atmosphere. This restaurant is perfect for all after a night out, giving you a relaxed and care free environment to eat some food and have a nice drink.

Offering the services that will make sure that people will use the pub

With society changing and people’s requirements now different to what they were compared to many years ago, the face of the pub is now changing, which for some might be a good thing but for others might not exactly be the ideal change that they appreciate.

Pubs are now forced to become more family friendly, because parents these days want to spend their spare time with their children, and with working hours at an all time high in the UK, the spare time that you might have is probably going to be limited. This is why it’s so crucial that pubs are welcoming to families, because it allows the adults to enjoy time with the kids but also allows them to have a bit of their own enjoyment as well.

More and more pubs now offer more than just beer and spirits, with a rise in pubs serving all day food and bar snacks very apparent, as your local pub now understands how important it is to get people through the doors and try to make them stay there for as long as possible.
As people change and their spending habits also change, it is important for local businesses and pubs to also change and to start offering the services that will make sure that people will use the pub, but more importantly, continue to use the pub.

Community hotspot for so many reasons

With so many pubs closing down every day in the UK, the time has now come for local people to start supporting their local pubs, as these outlets really can be one of the social lynch pins in society, allowing people to come together and communicate about local issues.

Local pubs are often considered the backbone of the local area, as you can guarantee that the people that use the pub will know what is going on in their area, and these people will talk to other people, which mean that the local pub can act as community hotspot for so many reasons.
Getting together in your town or village pub will allow you to get to know other people in the area and also meet new friends, whilst at the same time connect you to your existing friends and local people that you already know.

In the age of collapsing societies and often an air of discontent, now is the time to really embrace your local pub and start to use it, with many pubs now being family friendly and allowing you to take the kids along and enjoy the beer garden or entertainment, meaning there is no excuse not to support your local landlord.
